My Hobbies

Now I´m going to write about the things that I do on my free time.

When I was six years old I used to play football, that was my favorite hobbie then , but I stopped playing football when I was ten or eleven I don´t remember why. When I stopped playing football I started to do track for about 2 years , then I did not continue doing it because my teacher left the city. So when i was twelve years old I started to play basketball and handball I did those sports for about five years, then I left. After that me and my cousin decided to start to play tenis on weekends so we played that for a long time then we stop playing tenis because we left Iquique.

When I started to play those sports the only thing that I had to have was some free time.
Then I started to play then in a competitive way so it demanded me more time and effort , First I had to learn how to play basket with my two hands
then I improved my physical condition and learned some games tactics.

Now days my favorite hobbie is juggling this demand me a lot of concentration but I think that it is very funny.

The earthquake

That period of time i was enjoying my vacations in Iquique. That night specificaly I had gone to a party whith some friends to a disco called Pharos. While i was dancing whith someone some crazy girl apeared and said that in Santiago there had been an earthquake. At first I did not thought that the earthquake was so serios so i just send some SMS to two friends they did not response the SMS but I didn´t care much.

Then when the party finished I watched the tv and see all the images.
It was shocking for me to see all the devastation so I started to call my family and friends
fortunately they were all ok.

One day later my first preocupation was my airplane ticket so I started to call the airline...
they could just give me a solution 4 days later. By the way my ticket was for 2 days before the earthquake that's why I was so worried of that :).

I only gave some milks for help , beacause of the distance and that I didn't have any money I could not help more. But my father and mother helped a lot :).

The first lesson that I learned is to be prepared for any kind of natural disaster that could happen
And the second and I think that is much important is that I have to try not to worry about my friends and family just in extreme situations and try to stay in contact in any moment :).
